Temperature Monitoring

Go Back

Our Energy Saving Systems allow for the effective energy management of the entire system, while increasing the control and reporting capabilities for the end user in an easy to use way.

All controls are networked via an IP control system to a central temperature monitoring system.

This management system ensures that all aspects of the refrigeration are monitored on a continual basis.

The use of this controller also help clients who come to ACE Refrigeration for their refrigeration systems further reduce running costs by at least 10%; ensuring the entire system always operates at peak performance, reducing energy costs and  pinpointing any potential issues before they become a problem, as well as allowing remote access to monitor the entire system from afar.

ACE recently carried out a large programme of refrigeration works for Castle MacLellan as part of the expansion of their pâté processing plant at Kirkcudbright.

ACE had responsibility for the design and installation of two blast chills, meat chill, vegetable chill, two new dairy chills, a blast topping chill room, a new topping blast freezer, defrost room, a freezer room and a chill store as well as prep holding chill, temperature controlled holding room and an alcohol store.

The control system for the defrost room utilises a Eurotherm Nanodac twin loop controller with a custom designed control logic program. This bespoke programme was designed by ACE as there is no proprietary defrost room controller available.
