ACE Refrigeration has just completed the design, supply and installation of four cold rooms for the Scottish Environment Protection Agency as well as taking responsibility for their service and maintenance. The project consisted of one Low Temperature room and three High Temperature rooms; all are now fully functional in the Angus Smith Building at Eurocentral in Lanarkshire. The building which opened earlier this summer has first-class laboratory work space and allows SEPA to bring together more than 300 staff from related disciplines into a single, modern, fit-for-purpose facility, enhancing the agency’s integrated and coordinated approach to environmental protection and improvement.
